DC charger C-Station C800 mode

Medium-sized, ground-mounted direct current (DC) charging stations, such as the Kempower C800 C-Station 50 kW, are a new concept in the field of electromobility, as they provide charging speeds similar to large stations, but in a small size thanks to its centralized cabinet and its satellites.

The charging station Kempower C800 C-Station reduces the charging time of current electric vehicles by offering 350 km of autonomy for every hour of connection with a 50 charging power kW and a nominal charging power of up to 200 kW direct current (DC) in compared to the 75 km of autonomy offered by other alternating current charging stations (AC – 11 kW).

The Kempower C-Station combines the functionalities of the C-Series Charging Power Unit (CPU) and the S-Series Charging Satellite. The heavy-duty electromechanical design features a selection of modules for charging power, charging power management, and system control.

The charging power of C-Station can be distributed between 1 and 4 charging outputs, the satellites. A cabinet can have 1 to 4 power modules, each of which provides load power up to 50 kW and nominal load power up to 200 kW.

With Dynamic Power Supply, available charging power from all power modules is automatically divided among all connected charging outlets, based on cable size and the requirements of the vehicles being charged.
